YOUTH BIBLE STUDY CLASSES
We are out to win the hearts of our children and teens for Jesus. By the Spirit and the Word, we teach to raise them up “to love the Lord their God with all of their heart, with all of their soul, and with all of their mind and to love their neighbor as themselves” (Matthew 22:36), to set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith, and in purity” (1 Timothy 4:12) and to “be qualified to teach others also” (2 Timothy 2:2).
Children's Bible Study
Ages 3 to Grade 5
Sundays, 9:30 - 10:45 a.m
Children ages 2 to Grade 5 are at The Point, the Sunday morning Youth Discipleship space, where it is all about teaching children about the Savior who has died for them and for whom, in turn, they should live. Specifically, through culturally relevant curriculum, children are introduced to the love that God has expressed for us in Jesus Christ. It is here that they can make their own professions of faith in Jesus as Savior and begin their journey as disciples of Christ.
Teen Bible Study
Teens (Grades 6 to 12)
Sundays, 9:30 - 10:45 a.m.
Middle and high school students are engaged in Bible studies that are rich in the Word, relevant to their lives both present and future, and application-centered so that they can nurture and practice a living faith. Teens are challenged to weigh the claims of Christ and the Christian worldview against all that is secular, which sets itself against Christ and with which they are constantly faced. Student receive the ammunition they need to be victorious in this warfare for their hearts, minds and souls, their allegiance, and their Jesus-centered purpose.
Kid's AWANA
Ages 3 to Grade 6
Tuesdays, 6:45 - 8:45 p.m.
AWANA stands for Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed and is based on 2 Timothy 2:15, “Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a workman who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the word of truth.” Clubs are provided for children ages 3 to grade 6. They are Cubbies (ages 3 & 4); Sparks (K-2nd grade); Truth & Training is the club for 3rd through 6th graders.
Teen AWANA
Grades 7 - 12
Tuesdays, 6:45 - 8:45 p.m.
Teen AWANA is for those beyond 6th grade. We work to meet students where they are in order to bring them to the level where Christ wants them to be. So, what’s great about Teen AWANA? Teens have another night in the week where they can hang with friends, and receive practical instruction from God’s word. There are two segments: Trek for 7th & 8th graders, and Journey for 9th through 12th graders. Each is moving toward understanding that being a Christian is an all-day everyday thing, 24/7. Why? “Because the Christian Walk Never Stops!”
