DiscipleLand — Sundays, 8:30 to 9:30 a.m.
While their parents are at The Connection Point, children ages 2 to Grade 6 are in DiscipleLand. This is the place where we introduce them to the love that God has expressed in Jesus Christ. It is here that they can make a profession of faith in Jesus as Savior and begin their journey as disciples of Christ. DiscipleLand is a complete Bible learning system which, more specifically, leads children to know God intimately, to love Him passionately, and to serve Him selflessly. The children’s books are magazine quality and filled with meaningful activities to enhance their Bible study experience.
Kids AWANA — Tuesdays, 6:45 to 8:45 p.m.
The highlight of our week is AWANA. The clubbers come ready to praise God, recite verses, receive awards, play games and shop in The Awana Store. AWANA stands for Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed and is based on 2 Timothy 2:15. Each week at the opening ceremony this verse is recited in this way: 2 Timothy 2:15 - “Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a workman who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the word of truth.” 2 Timothy 2:15.
Clubs are provided for children ages 3 to grade 6. They are Cubbies (ages 3 & 4); Sparks (K-2nd grade); Truth & Training is the club for 3rd through 6th graders, which we group by gender.
CPBC’s AWANA Clubs meet from September to May on Tuesday evenings from 6:45 to 8:45 p.m.
